Mounting Minleon Permanent Lighting to Different Buildings

These mounting choices allow permanent lights to follow rooflines, perimeters, and other exterior features without requiring every building to use the same installation approach.
3-Way Track for Permanent Lighting
Minleon’s permanent track uses a U-channel design that supports multiple mounting orientations. The UV-coated PVC track comes in 3-foot sections and can be cut to fit the dimensions and architectural features of a home or commercial building.
The track is available in exterior colors including white, black, brown, gray, and sand so the mounting system can better coordinate with different building finishes.
Smart Base for a 90-Degree Direction Change
Minleon Smart Base works with compatible permanent-lighting track to change the direction the lights face by 90 degrees. This gives installers another orientation when the mounting surface does not point the lights in the desired direction.
Smart Base also comes in 3-foot sections and uses UV-protected PVC for permanent exterior installations.
Custom-Fit Track Sections
Each 3-foot track section can be cut to fit shorter roofline sections, corners, and other architectural dimensions. This allows installers to adapt the mounting layout to the building rather than forcing the building dimensions to match fixed track lengths.
Minleon recommends leaving an expansion gap of approximately 1/8 inch between adjacent track sections so the material has room to expand and contract after installation.
Wire Covers for a Cleaner Installation
Minleon track can use pre-cut wire covers between the lights to conceal wiring inside the channel. The covers clip into the track between fixtures, helping the permanent-lighting run maintain a more integrated appearance along the building.

Track or Clip Mounting
Not every permanent-lighting layout requires a full U-channel track. Minleon also provides mounting clips and Smart Base strips for installations where individual fixture positioning or a simpler mounting method better fits the architecture.
Minleon Pebble Lights can use track or dedicated clips, giving perimeter installations different ways to position and align the individual pixels.
Mounting Options for Different Applications
Minleon identifies its permanent track and Smart Base for residential, commercial, perimeter, landscape, and light-grid applications. The mounting method can therefore change according to the fixture, mounting surface, desired light direction, and overall exterior layout.
