TrikLit 100s for Permanent Decorative Displays
BlueHopper’s Minleon TrikLit 100s provide large-format permanent decorative lighting with 100 mm bulbs, 360-degree viewing, custom spacing options, and individually addressable control for exterior displays. Their larger bulb format suits applications where the light itself should remain visually prominent rather than blend into a roofline or mounting track.
100 mm Large-Format Bulbs
The “100” in TrikLit 100 refers to the approximately 100 mm, or 4-inch, bulb format. The larger globe-style appearance gives the fixture a different visual role from compact Minleon Pebbles, D35 pucks, or linear Light Bars.
The frosted polycarbonate housing distributes the light around the bulb, creating a decorative fixture intended to be visible as part of the display.
Built for 4-Season Permanent Installations
Minleon TrikLit 100s use insulated, UV-protected wiring and professional-grade construction for 4-season permanent lighting applications. The fixture operates across temperatures from approximately -4°F to 122°F, supporting exterior installations across changing seasonal conditions.
Individually Addressable Lighting
Each TrikLit 100 is individually addressable, allowing compatible controllers to manage separate bulbs across the lighting string. The fixtures use 16-bit dimming with 65,536 levels, supporting smooth transitions, fades, and coordinated animated effects.
Compatible MeshTek 1-port and 4-port controllers can manage the lighting as part of a broader BlueHopper-controlled installation.
Flexible Pixel Spacing
TrikLit 100 strings are available with standard pixel spacing of 6, 12, or 24 inches. Custom configurations are also available for projects that need different spacing, allowing the layout to match the scale and visual density of the decorative installation.
Light-count options include 5, 10, and 25 bulbs, with custom quantities available for qualifying projects.
360-Degree Viewing
The TrikLit 100 format provides a 360-degree viewing angle, allowing the bulb to remain visible from multiple directions. This makes the larger decorative format useful for applications where viewers may approach or see the lighting from different sides rather than from one fixed direction.
12V Power for Decorative Runs
TrikLit 100s operate at 12V DC and use approximately 0.336 watts per light under BlueHopper’s published specifications. A typical installation supports approximately 125 lights or about 100 feet before additional power injection is required, depending on the layout and spacing.
The TrikLit 100 format requires more power than smaller TrikLit variants because of its larger lighting configuration.
Decorative and Architectural Applications
TrikLit products suit decorative installations where the light fixtures remain visually prominent within the design. Their individually controlled output allows strings to participate in animated patterns, coordinated colors, and larger architectural or event-style lighting displays.
The larger 100 mm format is particularly useful where the visual scale of the bulb itself contributes to the finished exterior display.
