Light Bars for Long Architectural Runs
BlueHopper’s Minleon Light Bars create continuous permanent lighting across long architectural and perimeter runs, with 1-meter fixtures controlled every 5 inches and runs of up to 18 bars, or about 60 feet, before additional power injection. Their linear format creates a gap-minimized lighting effect along building edges and other exterior structures where continuous illumination is preferred over individual points of light.
One-Meter Linear Lighting Format
Each Minleon Light Bar measures 1 meter and contains 48 LEDs arranged across the fixture. The linear housing creates a continuous lighting surface that follows straight architectural lines, making Light Bars suited to perimeter applications and longer exterior runs.
Control Every Five Inches
Minleon divides each Light Bar into individually controllable sections of six LEDs, or approximately 5 inches. This sectional control allows different parts of the same lighting run to participate in animated effects, transitions, and coordinated color patterns instead of operating as one fixed-output bar.
Continuous Lighting with Minimal Visible Gaps
The through-connectors between Light Bars tuck behind the fixtures and out of sight. This connection design allows adjacent bars to sit closely together, helping create a more continuous visual effect across longer architectural runs.
Up to 60 Feet Before Additional Power
A standard run can connect up to 18 one-meter Light Bars, equal to approximately 18 meters or 60 feet, before additional 24V DC power injection is required. This allows multiple bars to form a longer continuous run while keeping power requirements predictable as the installation expands.
24V Power and Exterior Construction
Minleon Light Bars operate at 24V DC and use approximately 4.8 watts per meter. The fixtures use 18 AWG UV-protected wire, twist-lock connectors, and a polycarbonate housing, with an operating temperature range from approximately -4°F to 122°F.
Perimeter and Architectural Applications
Minleon identifies Light Bars for perimeter lighting as well as bridges, sports arenas, light art, and other applications that benefit from a continuous linear lighting format. Within a permanent exterior-lighting layout, the bars are especially suited to areas where the lighting needs to follow long, straight architectural lines.
MeshTek Control
Minleon Light Bars are individually addressable and work with compatible MeshTek 1-port and 4-port controllers. This allows the bars to participate in coordinated scenes and effects with other compatible Minleon lighting instead of operating as an isolated linear fixture.
