Hot-Plugging

Hot plugging LEDs is a common issue that should be avoided:

Connecting or disconnecting LED lights, including floods, washers, nuggets, string lights, strips, etc., while the power is on can cause electrical surges. These surges can damage the LED lights, the power supply, or the controller.

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of the LED lights, all LEDs manufacturers explicitly advised against hot plugging.

What you are required to do:

Please ensure the power is turned off or unplugged before adding, replacing, or removing nuggets or other LED products. Do not plug the nuggets or other LED lights into the system anywhere while it is powered on.

This guideline reaffirms the installation requirements to ensure a better customer experience and optimal product performance.
